Welcome Back to School for the 2026-2027 School Year
August 5, 2026
Dear Sugar-Salem Families,
Welcome to another exciting school year in the Sugar-Salem School District! I hope you and your family have enjoyed a wonderful summer filled with rest, fun, and time together. As we prepare to begin a new school year, I want to extend a warm welcome to both our returning families and those who are joining the Sugar-Salem community for the first time.
Our schools are filled with dedicated teachers, caring staff, and outstanding administrators who are committed to helping every student succeed. We believe that strong partnerships between home and school are essential to student achievement, and we look forward to working together to provide the best possible educational experience for every child.
Student Registration
Registration for all students will be held:
Tuesday, August 11 – 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Wednesday, August 12 – 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
During registration, families will have the opportunity to complete or review required paperwork (in person or online), verify student information, review demographic and contact information in PowerSchool, receive schedules (where applicable), and prepare for a successful start to the school year.
As we begin the new year, I encourage every student to come ready to learn, work hard, and become involved in the many academic, athletic, and extracurricular opportunities available throughout our district. Every day in school is an opportunity to grow, build friendships, and prepare for a bright future.
The Sugar-Salem School District has a long tradition of excellence, and that tradition continues because of the support of our families and community. Thank you for entrusting us with your children's education. We are honored to partner with you and are excited about the opportunities this school year will bring.
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, our administrators, teachers, and staff, welcome back! We look forward to seeing all of our students soon and wish everyone a safe, successful, and rewarding school year.
Sincerely,
Jared Jenks, Superintendent
